Hybrigenics Services specializes in protein interaction discovery through advanced yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) screening and fully synthetic VHH antibody development. Our ULTImate Y2H platform, refined through more than 25 years of expertise and over 10,500 completed screens, enables unbiased whole-proteome identification of protein–protein interactions across plant, human, model organism, and host–microbe systems.
For plant biology applications, we offer highly complex tiled cDNA libraries from species including Arabidopsis, tomato, maize, Medicago truncatula, Nicotiana benthamiana, soybean, orange, and wheat, derived from healthy and pathogen-infected tissues across diverse developmental stages. Our platform also supports host–microbe interaction studies using viral and bacterial effector proteins as bait. Screens are performed to saturation (~83 million interactions tested; ~8-fold library coverage) and include confidence scoring, false-positive assessment, and mapping of minimal interacting domains (SID). Customer projects using our Y2H services have contributed to more than 700 peer-reviewed publications.
We also provide animal-free synthetic VHH discovery using our hs2dAb phage display library (>3 × 10? llama VHHs). Resulting VHHs have been published in applications including PPI inhibition, target neutralization, structural biology, live-cell imaging, and targeted protein degradation.
